I think today I will join the Bonnie Russell Stable with what I think is one of the most arrogant statements I have ever read in my life. Mr Bob Diamond, CEO Barclays Bank Plc -"The time for remorse over bankers pay is over"- Then he goes and pays himself £27.3m Can you believe the arrogance and greed involved here. Further to this HE IS NOT the highest paid person within the hallowed walls of Barclays plc. A certain Mr. Jerry Del Missier Co-CEO Barclays Capital Paid himself a total of £47.3m-yes you have read it correctly-£47.3m for twelve months work. Well that's a laugh in it-work- this means most afternoons on the golf Course or swanning around on his luxury yacht in the Med...So I would ask Mr. Missier-Just what do you do to earn that sort of money?
Then we get to Mr Rich Ricci (he certainly is) -Co-CEO Barclays Capital. He paid himself the grand sum of £44m for doing the other half of Del Missier daily chores; he probably spends the mornings on the golf course. Then there is a certain Mr. Thomas Kalaris-CEO Barclays Wealth. He was paid £13.9 m; now by his job description he probably unlocks the safe for the other three wankers....sorry, Bankers.
Then there is Mr Anthony Jenkins-CEO Global Retail Banking-The corner shop- who has been paid the lowly sum of 'only' £8.2m. He must have spent too much time on the golf course as a result didn't manage to steal as much as the other bandits.
Then let’s not forget Mr Robert Le Blanc who took home the paltry sum of only £6.8m. I cannot imagine what one does to earn such a little amount, probably the Toilet attendant!
That is a total of £272m between six people in total Barclays paid out a further £554m...an AVERAGE of £2.4m each, to other members of staff. These must have been the counter staff for putting up with outraged public!
So why should I get so het up about such goings on? I'll tell whether you wish to know or not.
My personal pension fund has shrunk by almost eighty percent in the last three years; my take home pay has been drastically reduced in part thanks to this sort of theft by the likes of these thieving bastards.
Not just mine, but millions of people all round the globe. The world is in one of the biggest recessions thanks to the Banks. Last year the British and American Governments bailed out these arrogant spivs to the tune of Billions of Dollars...OUR BLOODY DOLLARS! In the UK right now as I sit and write this, councils throughout the land are busy finalising plans to cut thousands of jobs and cut budgets by millions of pounds, The already understaffed Police force are being forced to take substantial pay cuts and work overtime without pay along with a big reduction in staff! Thanks to the greed of this arrogant shower of shite.
What sort of statement is that sending to the criminal fraternity?
Make no mistake this is greed at its very ugliest and at the very least this summer will without doubt see the biggest riots this country has ever seen! I apologise for my colourful way of putting things however this is definitely cleaner that it could have been.
